Philosophy of Surgery and Beauty
Dr. Belsley lives and practices in Manhattan- one of the most competitive environments in the world. There, Dr. Belsley has observed that the desire to achieve high personal aesthetic standards and the need to fulfill and even exceed the requirements of a busy professional and social schedule coexist in many of the world’s most successful individuals. She understands that improvements in an individual’s personal appearance and subsequently self-confidence can positively affect quality of life and often the level of satisfaction with professional triumphs and social accomplishments. She is also aware that today’s lifestyles make it exceedingly difficult to find the time required to achieve a high level of success in each of these arenas.
Dr. Belsley specializes in making it possible to reconcile these often competing interests in appropriately selected individuals.
She listens carefully to her client’s personal goals and uses her expertise to discuss the various methods that she feels would accomplish objectives and expectations in a timeline compatible with even the most demanding schedule. Often, Dr. Belsley can offer multiple options and she enjoys discussing the advantages and disadvantages of each, so that she and her client can come to a mutual decision regarding the most appropriate course of action.
If Dr. Belsley is unable to offer any options at the time of the initial meeting due to medical reasons, she makes every effort to introduce that individual to the practice of an appropriately selected specialist who will assist in eradicating those obstacles.
